Twitters New HomePage
twitter has debuted the new homepage tonight…Hmmm I dont really like it as far as look BUT it does serve the purpose and its practical and right to the point. With whats going on being the focus of twitter…a search makes allot of sense…that is the bread and butter of twitter. Especially if they can figure out how to monetize that aspect of it.

Aside from a Straight FWd search area it shows you what the popular trends are so….for use I give it a 10 But As far as looks…it just has not grown on me!

Amazon Buys Zappos for 800 Million
Amazon recently purchased zappos.com for 800mil. Why does it matter..well it doesn’t but this gives me a chance to make a point about Biz. Everyone knows Amazon for being a powerhouse of a online company but yet they still operate other sites outside of the core model. Many do not know that amazon runs Endless.com which compete with zappos or the numerous side projects they have done and continue to operate. My point is that no matter what your are doing. it is smart to venture into other projects becuase you never know when your star company may take a fall. below is a list of all the Amazon activity that has occurred over the years that the generic public never really pays attention to! So when you have a great idea and you think…..no i am doing fine with my current business. Just remember..if you want to really grow you need to keep on the grind no matter how good or bad you are doing!

On July 30, 2007, the National Archives announced that it would make thousands of historic films available for purchase through CreateSpace.[38]

Plam Pre Quick Review
So I had to go exchange my Instinct because it was acting up and decide to upgrade to the new Plam Pre. Overall the phone is small and sleek and simple to use. I personally am not a favorite of the small keyboard but im sure its just a matter of getting use to it. The phone does have the ability to mulit-task so you can be on the cell and browse the net at the same time not something that can be done with the iphone. Overall has been a good experience but i wish there were more apps for the phone. Im still paying only $113 monthly for unlimited everything which is a great deal and no issues with the service overall (sprint) but I am still considering to switch to the iphone…i still have 24 days t decided ![]()

So I have had the Sprint Samsung instinct for i think over a year now and overall I like the phone allot BUT the freaking thing has froozen up on me way to many times and i need to go and exchange it. Sure Sprint support has been great in regards to the issue and they swap it for me but Its a bit annoying. With it being touch screen it just kinda makes the phone useless.
Thing is I do 2500-3000 monthly mins and about 2000-2300 text msgs. So for me 2 days without a phone is a lifetime!
I am im still debating on the iphone or maybe just switching to a blackberry

One of my close friends does PR work and here is a great article he wrote On Video Content
For those of us who spend countless hours a day in front of a computer screen, chances are, we’ve spent some portion of that day on video sharing sites such as YouTube, Blip.TV or AOL Video. According to the web analytics site, Compete.com, YouTube alone had over 76 million unique visitors to the site in May 2009 alone.
With millions of people watching hundreds of millions of videos per day and uploading hundreds of thousands of videos daily-ten hours of video is uploaded every minute according to YouTube-the task of guiding users to your video content, can be quite a challenge!
In June, I provided tips for “Implementing Video in Your PR Campaigns,” and discussed “Best Practices for Creating Video Content.” But once you have begun creating video content and posting to video sharing sites, how can you ensure that your videos will ever be viewed?

What is Twitter? A weekend Debate
This past weekend i was out with some friends and got into a bit of a debate. over the use of twitter and what good it is. This is not the 1st time i have this debate but i figured it would give me something write about. To start off it tends to start with the fact i have so many followers on my account and people don’t seem to grasp the point of twitter. I speak for my self on this but I enjoy being social and meeting folks… so for me twitter is a way to increase my social network and meet random folks. frankly everyone knows someone and you never know where it will lead you. So I am open arms to everyone…
I like to use it to get feedback on things as well as just learn about others becuase its a mix of all types of folks.
When people ask me but who gives a f**k what your doing or what you say…they don’t know you and you don’t know them. Well your right to a degree but then wouldn’t that mean we should all just never speak to anyone? I spend allot of time online I have made friends that i have never met. some in other countries some in the same city.
From a Biz side of things…twitter is a source of distribution called word of mouth! Some folks say I’m on there only to self promote..well yes that is part of it! I do online projects so if i can use twitter to get the word out why not! BUT if you are someone that follows me..you know I also have random conversations about day to day things.
Anyway…twitter can be different things depending how you use it and who you use it with! So dont hate..cuz you dont get it!
