Im now a Domain Whore

I’ve always dabbled in domains names..actually that was my 1st interest of the internet. I had heard that forsalebyowner had sold for like 800k and some other insane sale..all by the guy…I forget his name..but he was like 22 at the time..I was like 18-19. To think he had paid $35 and flipped it such a return..it was hard to not become interested.

I started surfing the web with my 2mph erols connection and trying to learn more about online programs ect.. I eventually stepped up and purchased a few domains. Today I wish i wouldn’t have purchased so much more. printnpost was actually one of those domains..a print a store near my home had that name so i searched and purchased it.

I did make a few bucks on 1 domain..I am not legally allowed to speak of, but i turned $15 into $2500 thanks to a major tv network…it was take the money or go to court. I figured it was a decent return.

Anyway….So for awhile i got into it buying cool names hoping to sell them or setup sites. I stopped since it started to add up on me and i really didn’t make much money teaching karate. So I stopped for a while. Well…that Itch is back…..I’m slowly seeing my domain account with godaddy increase….I think I am at 130 domains last i checked. not much compared to say Shoemoney with 10,000+ or so

So of my favorite domains I got my hands on.

www.printnpost.com

www.lyricwire.com

www.recipehead.com

www.addapoll.com

www.addaquiz.com

www.singleshunt.com

www.outrankme.com

hmmm…i have some others..but I think I’ve given away to much as it is!

basically…always keep an eye out for good domains, you never know when you make use it.

Wow, your ingenuity never ceases to amaze me. But, now with something like http://www.outrankme.com that you’re not using, could you sell that? Is there a way to auction it off online? I only have two domains - one of which I’m using - and I always wandered, how do you go about selling domain names? It would make a great PnP article!
