1) the Title..I say this all the time but target the title…make sure the keyword is in the title..be creative and spark interest or a little controversy.
2) Interlinking, I have to say even I am pretty bad about this BUT it is underused and should be a priority in all the articles or blogs you submit. By linking keywords to other articles or blogs with the website, even if the article is not yours on printnpost it will help drive traffic and improve the site. You see, let us say another author has a page which is indexed and considered important by google but the article you submitted has not been indexed yet. Well If all the authors would juts take a few minutes to link to each other..we help each other become indexed quicker, as well as send each other traffic. So keep this simple technique in mind if you seriously want to grow. Maybe even parent with certain authors to do this.
3) If you want to appear in say googles search result for the keyword “yellow Trucks”, a Little secret which is actually SOLD in allot of programs is to simple go right down the list of sites that currently appear in the google results and try to get your link on the site. IF you can leave a post of comment, start a forum topic anything…just get a link to your article on the page.
4) Surf the net for other sites with the topic you wrote about and leave comments and questions or suggest your pages, I do this everyday!..yes everyday! And it WORKS!
