So I’m sitting watching the news last night and fox runs this bit about black Friday and how there are sites about the deals available at major department stores……within seconds of hearing this I was utterly upset I didn’t think about it first.
So I jumped off my lazy ass and run to the pc to check out if what had just popped into my heads was right….and guess what I was…Fox went said told the viewers about a black Friday comparison site…about how the site provided free information about the deals being offered and how you could link right to the site to find it.
HELLO…great investigative work Fox news….this is an Affiliate driven site like i do with www.howmuchfor.com OK so here is what is really going on.
This site backfriday.info is showing you info about the deals being offered at major stores..BUT the reality is they are links being driven from affiliate programs feeds that anyone has access to, so really this has a 2 part fold to it…
1) Someone goes to the site and clicks through and ends up on the affiliate site make s a purchase and BAM…..MONEY IN THE BANK
2) Someone surfs the site follow a link to the affiliate site and buys nothing..O wait a cookie is now on that pc waiting to collect!..that’s right….most programs run 30-45 days cookies..so if that person goes back and buys something…CHING CHING
Basically..take a already existing model and just tweak it a bit to create a new twist which ends off paying out…this site may only be good for a quick seasonal burst but with attention like fox telling people about it…you know someone is getting paid!
