Domain Parking for Cash

So is domain parking worth the money? You see programs online about making money of domains parking by joining sites like sedo or godaddy and they will pay you for traffic. Now  without getting off topic this is not something new..people buy domains that never get used and some of those names are gold mines that draw traffic via search engines. So the idea is to make  a few bucks off this traffic. I know of 1 site 100% built on this model…well they started this way at least…that’s netster.com, they have a HUGE domain name list..even a few I use to know and let expire they ended up picking up …(yes im an idiot for letting them go)
So back to the point..is it worth it? Well…in theory YES it is BUT it is not as easy as it seems, to make serious money you need some volume..so if you only do it with 1 domain…It better be a great generic term..like travel or dvd, to make this into a model you need to have several domains. Once you have them it would be a good idea to submit them to search engines using some software…Really buy software like Add Web  pro BY cyberspacehq.com..I’ve been using it for years and it works great. Do not go pay some crazy fee for each submission when you can do it every 3 months for free after you purchase the software.
Also…yes you could signup for sedo or other domain parking services but they are paying you a % of the % they are making. Why not cut out the middle man…you are going to drive the traffic so all they are doing is giving you a template and hosting…if you are out to make money online you should already have a host that you deal with and many times you can host several domains on 1 account. For example I use jumpline which allows 20 domains…which I happen to get a years worth of free hosting anyway..since I purchase software from interspire.
So now you have a domain and if you have  a host you can just setup a simple  single html page and add some google adsense code and yahoo and that’s it, you could also look into searchfeed, adbrite or some of the other sites that offer  text listings.
I’ll let you know it is easy but it does involve more then 1 domain and the money starts to come in..I own over 100 domains which is really nothing to the real domain name players and I do get free traffic from a few select names I have….some typos some just creative domains that I found…So yes try it out but do it yourself and avoid the middle men that are just taking your money for nothing.
